Empower Lifestlye & Conditioning is a high performance training company founded by Kari Schneider in 2005. Kari opened the Empower Training Facility in March of 2006 and has trained multiple high performance athletes (including the Men's and Women's National Volleyball Teams, Manitoba national Triathlon Centre, National Training Centre Soccer, Olympian Lee Carter and many more) in the environment designed for team and individual training. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! As of September 2009, Kari is sub-leasing the gym space to Professional Edge to carry on team, mixed marital arts and individual training while Kari is away in Turkey pursuing life and career opportunities. The Professional Edge gym at #7- 1109 Wilkes will still have many of the Therapists (Mel Bonin and Jim Norris) and Trainers (Kevin Coates) who trained with Empower- so you will be able to access the trusted service you have relied on! Empower Lifestyle & Conditioning is still operating on-line and is for anyone who wants to be physically better than they are now. We believe that excellence in sport inspires activity and improvement in all! Kari Schneider has been the strength coach for many National and Pro level athletes and has been the head strength coach for Team Canada Volleyball's Men's and Women's Teams for 8 years. She has extensive experience with multiple high performance athletes and has rehabilitated many athletes and clients from injuries to effectively and efficiently return to sport and life. She has presented internationally and believes in providing the best in Strength and Conditioning and rehabilitation.
